I’m not a 90s kid. In the 90s I was trying to figure out how to pay for college and pizza at the same time. My younger siblings were 90s kids, though. I spent a lot of time watching Power Rangers with them. I thought they were so cheesy, but in a good way.
I never realized what nostalgia their generation had for the show and its many iterations, but post an old Power Rangers clip on social media and people go nuts.
Anyway, 90s kids who are now 90s taxpayers are super jazzed that the Power Rangers franchise is getting a reboot with a new movie with new hot young actors, washed out color, and updated themes. The trailer just dropped, so go get your babydoll tee, your oversized coveralls and your flannel (I just realized all these things are back in fashion…good lawdy), grab a can of Surge and enjoy.
