Groovy Friday – Ten Little Indians…and More!

Let’s take the nasty taste of last week’s prank out of your mouth with some spicy Bollywood fare.

It’s Friday!

Let’s take the nasty taste of last week’s prank out of your mouth with some spicy Bollywood fare. This is from the film “Gumnaam.”  If Wikipedia is to be believed (and we always believe in Wikipedia here at Groovy Friday,) “Gumnaam” is an Indian thriller derived from Agatha Christie’s classic novel “And Then There Were None.”   I’ve read the book and seen the various film adaptations.  I must have forgotten the nightclub scene.

It rocks.

Have a groovy Friday!

Harriet Tubman is one of America’s most beloved historical figures but has sadly been largely relegated to just a few facts during Black History Month. This incredible ex-slave, spy, cook, nurse, public speaker and rescuer deserves a story worthy of her stature.

“Minty” – tentatively titled after Tubman’s nickname – is a “reimagining” of Harriet Tubman as an action hero. It is a period piece with a modern flare.
