Joia Monet – Knotty By Nature

Tee shirts are the perfect pieces to dress down a look.

A loose-fitting top paired with a skirt and sneakers ooze casual and comfortable with a hint of chic. I’m sporting this “Knotty by Nature” coral tee. My mother, specializing in Sisterlocks, designed it and I am in love with the fit of it. It’s a size small, but fits about a size medium – just the way I like it!

While thrifting at the Goodwill, I purchased this super cute pleated skirt. With the extra 25% off all items discount on this specific day, I only paid $4 for it! Stopping just above the knee, it makes for a nice and easy look. I preferred these pair of white sneaks over the original open-toe heels I wanted to wear with this outfit. Heels are often over-rated and these give a fun and flirty vibe.

The incorporation of this royal blue, thrifted Top Shop belt helps offset the coral and tan which are in the same color spectrum. And isn’t this clutch adorned with sequins adorable?! DSW had a major sale about a month ago. The original price was $40, and I found it in the clearance section for $29.94. There was an additional 50% mark down and a 20% off all items on top of that. So I pretty much paid absolutely NOTHING for it!! The clearance section will always and forever be my best friend!
