Plug In Your Earphones and Crank up “Springtime Carnivore” – Raised By Wolves

Vulnerable and fragile. Honest and pure. What I enjoy most about this song is that someone wanted to make it and they got it right…

This song, though. This song makes me feel all kinds of ways, if that makes any sense. There are so many elements of this song that I thoroughly enjoy. Love the steady bass line that carries everything delicious about this song on its back. Everything else about this song is, well… icing on the cake. Greta Morgan who plays under the name Springtime Carnivore has nailed it with her song “Raised by Wolves”.  It starts off with that soft organ that pulls you out from the cold and into, dare I say, bliss? Then that bass, the tempo, her voice. Her voice, like Stevie Nicks, vulnerable and fragile. Honest and pure. What I enjoy most about this song is that someone wanted to make it and they got it right for a full three minutes and thirty two seconds, now the three minutes and thirty two seconds I look forward to on the daily….
