Michael Clarke Duncan plays a sweet but daft gentle giant convicted of the rape and murder of a child in the 1950’s south. As a black man his fate is sealed, but his mysterious gift changes the lives of the prison guards and inmates around him. The adaptation of a popular Stephen King series also stars Tom Hanks. Duncan’s performance will move any viewer to tears.

Marriage, family and the unconditional love of a four-legged friend who walks through it all alongside his owners…everyone can relate to the themes in this tearjerker story about a man and his dog and the ups and downs of growing up.

Another football movie that guys are safe to cry over. The classic story of the real-life interracial friendship between football stars Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccolo moves every guy to tears every time he watches it.

This moving Disney animation hits you right in the gut from the opening scene and will have any viewer crying happy tears by the end. Ed Asner’s cranky, elderly protagonist has us emotionally engaged every step of the way and the sweet message is pretty universal.
