    David Bowie’s art collection to be displayed before auction at Sotheby’s

    Over 200 pieces from David Bowie’s extensive art collection, including works by Damien Hirst and Jean-Michel Basquiat will go on public display before heading being auctioned at Sotheby’s in November.

    If you don’t have the scratch to buy anything you can still get a peek at hundreds of art works collected by the eclectic rock star before they hit the auction block.

    The collection will be on public display in Los Angeles on Sept. 20-21, New York Sept. 26-29 and Hong Kong Oct. 12-15.
