The Weekly #Rehash: We’re Never Getting Rid of Crocs Edition

#ShaqAttackJunior Shaquille O’Neal’s 18-year-old son is recovering from heart surgery after a scary diagnosis that may have severely affected his college basketball career. We wish the young man a speedy recovery!

#NotThatNancyWilson Classic crooner and “song stylist” Nancy Wilson has died at the age of 81. The news sent Twitter into a frenzy of shocked condolences for Nancy Wilson of the sibling-led rock band “Heart”. Both women have incredible vocal talents and have influenced the music industry in tremendous ways. Losing either one is sad, but we’re happy for the time being that “Heart” still beats. Condolences to the family of the elder Ms. Wilson. Thank your for your gift.

#ExpensiveLines Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams have been ordered to pay $5 million to the family of Marvin Gaye for stealing his hook for their groovy rape-anthem “Blurred Lines”.

#BeefBros Kanye West and Drake are marketing beefing…again.

#Reunion J.J. Abrams and Jennifer Garner are reuniting for a new tv series based on a memoir by Amy Silverstein. The drama will air on Apple. In other news, Apple is making tv shows.

#PostCrocs Post Malone isn’t the name of your neighborhood mailman, it’s some guy who’s a rapper. He likes ugly things like gross hair, face tattoos and apparently Crocs. The Crocs he designed sold out in minutes. MINUTES! I’m starting to believe we will never live in a post-Croc world.

#GoldenGary Uber-mensch Gary Sinise sent hundreds of Gold Star children (kids who have lost a parent in combat) to Disneyland for a five-day excursion that included “a blend of fun and inspiring programs” to help families cope with their unimaginable loss. The world needs fewer Crocs and more Gary Sinises.

#WaterworldPartDeux Aquaman premiered and there’s a half-naked Jason Momoa in it and that’s about all we need to know to predict it’s success.

#GlassHalfEmpty Kathy Lee Gifford is leaving Today’s official wine hour. She says she made the decision on her own, rumors say she was fired. Either way, the world has lost one wonderfully whacky morning wino. Good luck, KLG!

#KornyDocumentary Brian “Head” Welch of the nu-metal band Korn is releasing a documentary about his days as a rock superstar and his journey towards sobriety, responsible fatherhood and God. It actually looks pretty interesting.

#DaddyDearest Tommy Lee made amends with his son after a very bitter public feud. Note to celebrities: Your children are not your fans and they don’t work for you. They are your CHILDREN. Treat them accordingly. I’m looking at you, Alec Baldwin.

#LetTheMourningBegin Chris Pratt is off the market. He went Instagram-official with girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger and everyone knows once it’s on Instagram it’s FOR REAL for real. The realest.

#NoSpringChickens Dancing With the Stars You Never Heard Of will not air a spring season in 2019. There goes my mother-in-law’s social life for the season.

#MyHipsDoLie Spanish pop star Shakira is in a heap of trouble for tax evasion after she allegedly listed her permanent residence in The Bahamas to avoid Europe’s excessive tax system.
